
Dr. Jamie L. Parnell
Dr. Parnell has been a practicing Veterinarian in the Columbia, SC area for 13 years. She graduated from Clemson University in 2002 with her undergraduate B.S in animal sciences. She then attended Tuskegee University for her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2008.
Dr. Parnell worked under the mentorship of Dr. Kevin Blaes for a total of 12 years. She specializes in small animal wellness and emergency care, as well as exotic pets (i.e. guinea pigs, rabbits, rodents, ferrets and reptiles). She also specializes working with fearful pets to make the process of care for them a little easier.
Dr. Parnell loves all animals but bully breeds have her heart. In her spare time Dr. Parnell enjoys spending time with her 5 pets( 4 dogs and 1 cat), time with her family (especially her 7-year-old nephew) , enjoying Lake Murray and cheering on the Clemson Tigers in the fall, GO TIGERS!

Dr. Johnathan Floyd
Dr. Johnathan Floyd earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Prior to veterinary school, he graduated from Clemson University in 2019, where he completed his undergraduate studies and developed his passion for animal health and veterinary medicine.
Dr. Floyd excels at providing personalized veterinary care and believes that every patient deserves an individualized approach. He values building strong relationships with pet owners and works to ensure that treatment plans are tailored to meet the unique needs of each animal and their family.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Floyd enjoys investing time in both his personal well-being and his family. He values staying active with regular gym time and prioritizes quality time with loved ones. He is also a proud dog parent and enjoys outdoor activities, especially fishing, helping him maintain balance while pursuing his passion for veterinary medicine.
