Kayla Shepard is the client service coordinator for Chapin Veterinary Hospital. She has worked in many aspects of customer service for over 17 years and is enthusiastic to branch out into the veterinary medicine industry. She loves all animals, especially her three pitbulls: Chief,Dixie and Odin. All of Kayla’s pets have been under the care of Dr. Parnell for the past 8 years. Kayla currently resides in Chapin with her husband, Wesley, and their 2 children. All of Kayla’s family, pets included, love to be outdoors and very active. She is excited to bring a friendly face to our front desk and provide exceptional care to all of our clients
Chandler Baldwin is the Hospital Director for Chapin Veterinary Hospital. She has been working under Dr. Kevin Blaes and Dr. Jamie Parnell since 2009 as a Veterinary Technician. She grew up in the Columbia area and currently resides in Irmo with her husband Joe and their 3 doggy children. She specializes in working with fearful pets and is an advocate for our state dog, the boykin spaniel. She enjoys spending time with her husband at their favorite vacation spot, Folly Beach, and routing on the Gamecocks during the fall, despite what her boss may say, GO GAMECOCKS!
Amber Crist is a Veterinary technician assistant for Chapin Veterinary Hospital and has been working under Dr. Parnell since 2019. She is currently attending Clemson University and majoring in Animal and Veterinary Science. Amber grew up in Chapin with her family, dog and 2 cats. She enjoys going out on the lake with family, playing volleyball, and cheering on the Tigers with her friends and classmates in the fall.
Brooke New is a Veterinary technician/assistant for Chapin Veterinary Hospital and has been working with CVH since November 2019. Brooke is currently enrolled in Penn Foster where she is studying to become a licensed Veterinary technician. Brooke is originally from Charleston, SC but moved to Irmo, SC when she was 10 and still currently resides in the area with her 7 animals. She is an avid reader, softball fan and a true Clemson fanatic.
Morgan Schultz has been a Veterinary technician/assistant for Chapin Veterinary Hospital since November 2019. Morgan grew up in Chapin, South Carolina and still resides in the area with her 7 dogs (some of which we like to call mini horses) and 3 cats. She has been a Veterinary technician/assistant and has worked in the Veterinary medicine field since 2015. She enjoys being outside hunting and fishing with family and friends.
