Brandon is our amazing new Practice Manager since April 2021. He comes with a total of 16 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Brandon and his wife Hannah have 2 dogs – Lily and Minnie, 2 cats -Maroo and Jezabel, 2 white lab rats – Darwin and Edison, and 9 chickens. Hannah has named the chickens but he cannot keep up with them. In his free time, he loves hiking with my wife and our dogs. When he is not outside, he enjoys playing D&D or Warhammer with my friends and family or painting the miniatures for both games.
Kayla Shealy is the Lead Client Service Coordinator for Chapin Veterinary Hospital. She has worked in many aspects of customer service for over 17 years and is enthusiastic to branch out into the veterinary medicine industry. She has started a transition into learning the assistant side of the profession as well. Kayla loves to be well-rounded and knowledgeable to help every aspect of CVH. She loves all animals, especially her three pitbulls: Chief, Dixie and Odin. All of Kayla’s pets have been under the care of Dr. Parnell for the past 10 years. Kayla currently resides in Little Mountain with her 2 children, TC and Logan. All of Kayla’s family, 2- or 4-legged, love to be outdoors and are highly active. She is excited to bring a friendly face to our front desk and provide exceptional care to all our clients.
Hillary is a SC native who currently resides in Elgin SC. She is our lead assistant with 15 years of experience in the profession. Veterinary medicine and the care of animals has always been her passion. She could not picture herself doing anything else. She shares her home with quite the zoo- a pittie named Fury, 2 cats named Winnie and Kitten, a menagerie of fish, and her bearded dragon stubs. In her downtime, she enjoys going to racetracks, car shows, hiking trails, and being outdoors.
Molly is a veterinary assistant who has been working with Dr. Parnell since June 2020. She has taken Animal and Veterinary Science courses during her high school education. In the future, Molly plans on attending Clemson University and the University of Georgia to obtain a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She loves all animals, especially Dr. Parnell’s pack: Chappie, Obi, Lil Bit, and Howie. In her spare time, Molly enjoys going out on Lake Murray with friends/family and spending time with her pets, Cricket and Moo. She also enjoys teaching her dog new tricks, gardening, and studying various textbooks to prepare her for Veterinary school. Molly is excited to continue to provide exceptional care to all of our clients and their pets!
Tori is a veterinary assistant that has recently started in this profession. She is passionate and dedicated to learning as much as she can about the profession. She has 2 horses, Bacardi and Vegas, 2 dogs, Buffy and Charlie, and 1 cat Sailor. Tori enjoys riding her horses or being on the lake.
Kailey is one of our friendly receptionists here at Chapin Veterinary Hospital. She has worked in customer service in various different environments over the last 11 years and looks forward to using the skills she has learned to help take care of our growing family. She currently resides in Little Mountain with her German Shepherd, Atticus, and several cats. In her free time, Kailey enjoys playing video games, reading, and going on walks. She also loves spending time with her furry kiddos and is excited to share that love with all of yours too!
Amber is another of our friendly receptionists here at Chapin Veterinary Hospital. Born and raised in Kansas, Amber followed her husband’s military career to South Carolina when he got stationed at Fort Jackson. As he closes in on retirement, they have decided to put down roots in South Carolina and are happy to be settling down here as their son, Ethan enters High School. Amber and her family have a 3-year-old Siberian Husky, Furioso, and a 3-year-old German Shepherd, Jaeger.
